Getting to New Iberia is easy; leaving once you fall in love with her is much more difficult. To find your way to the Queen City of the Bayou Teche, use these driving directions from the north, south, east, or west.

Directions to New Iberia

Take US 90 east from Lafayette approximately 20 miles. Alternate routes: LA 182 south from Lafayette straight into downtown New Iberia; LA 31 south from I-10 via Breaux Bridge and St. Martinville along the Bayou Teche.

From the South and East (via US 90):
Take US 90 west from New Orleans approximately 145 miles. Alternate route: LA 182 north from Patterson via Franklin and Jeanerette along the Bayou Teche.

From the West:
Take I-10 east to Lafayette, then follow US 90 east to LA 14. Alternate route: LA 14 east from Lake Charles via Abbeville, Erath and Delcambre.
