Adult Athletic Programs

The New Iberia Recreation Department offers a wide variety of athletic programs and opportunities for adults. Traditional leagues such as softball, basketball, and volleyball are always popular, while newer adult programs like soccer and flag football have become integral components of the department.

Registration for athletic programs occurs at different times during the year. Department program guides give a complete list of both individual and team sign ups that are available at each registration session. Fees for each program vary.

In addition to these offerings, the department also hosts open gyms in the Cyr-Gates and Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Centers for pickup games and practices, and can even help you start a league or tournament of your own.
