Softball Program - Youth 

The New Iberia Recreation Department sponsors a youth softball program in City Park and West End Park. The league is composed of six (6) age group divisions open to youth ages 5 to 17. The divisions are:

Tee ball - 4 to 7 year olds. Tee ball has a fee of $20.00 per child.

All ages are determined as of May 31st of each year.

Registration for youth softball is held in March of each year. Youth participate in a workout to determine placement on teams as decided by the teams' coaches; no special requests for teams, teammates, or coaches will be honored. Play usually begins in June and ends in August. Teams typically play one to two games per week. Practice schedules are determined by coaches. Most games and practices are held at City Park and West End Park.
