Basketball - Adult 

The New Iberia Recreation Department sponsors an adult basketball league in the summer and winter. Adults age 18 and over can choose to play in either the men's, women's, or co-ed division by registering as a team for a specific division.

Registration is held in December and May of each year. Fees vary according to the division the team will play in. The summer basketball season usually begins in June and ends in August. The winter basketball season usually begins in January and ends in March. Teams typically play one (1) to two (2) games per week. Practice schedule is up to the individual team. Summer basketball games are held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, while winter basketball games are held at the Cyr-Gates Community Center.
