Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta
1 pound fettucine, cooked
1 pound medium shrimp
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 quart heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium jalapeno, sliced & seeded
1 large tomato, diced
salt and pepper, to taste
parsley, mince
Seasoning For Shrimp:
cayenne pepper, to taste
onion powder, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
seasoning salt, to taste
Peel and devein shrimp - season and set aside.
Heat olive oil. Add garlic, tomatoes and jalapenos and saute until soft. Add cream and cook it down until it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Add shrimp and saute lightly. Do not overcook the shrimp. Season with seasoning salt and pepper.
To serve, combine fettucine and sauce. Mix well and garnish with minced parsley.
